City Engineer filed the following repo*t which was approved by the Board. ° February 2801922, Board of Public Works, South Bend, Ind. - Gentlemen: -- In regard to the attached complaint relative to,the condition of Wilbur Street from Lon Iey Avenue to Fassnacht Avenue, I will state that Wilber Street from Longley Avenue o Linden Avenue has never been improved In any way, I would recommend that the Board of Public Works adopt a resolution to improve the street from Longley Avenue to Linden Avenue, by grading the street, and construct--, ing sidewalks and curbs on both sides. The Linden School is at the present time being bebuilt and enlarged, and this street if improved, would be of great utility to the children in that, school district; Respectfully -,submitted, APPROVED _F??EDFRICR J. Be It Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County,•State of•indiana, that it is desired and deemed necesary to impiroVe Fox Street from. Miami Street to Leer Street as follows, to -wit:_ Said street shall be graded. and the'roadway thereof Mall be paved; also the roadway of certain portions of;the streets and alleys'which enter or intersect said street shall be grailed and paved.
