The Board had up for discussion salaries and payrolls of the varidu al z�e.Dartments ,of- the Board. of Public Works. The salary of the Clerkof the Board was increased from $900.00 per year to $1,000.00 per year from November-lst.,1915. South Bend., Ind. Nov.10,1915. WHEREASI one E.L,Abbott dick purchase from the City of South Bead v Indiana for the consideration of $1.00,the following described property: All of lot 9 Block 6 Range 2.West in the City Cemetery of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and, 'WHEREAS, said E.L.Abbott.sole owner of the above described property having lost the deed for said lot now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works of said City, that the Mayor of said City be and he is hereby instructed to issue a duplicate deed to said E.A.Abbott for said described property. Board met in special session at.5 00 RoMe Mr. A. H. Rice absent. Mr. Frank of the Indiana & Michigan Elea. Company met with the Board _and checked up list of lights. Board ordered lights Nos. 718 and 845 which were 60 C.P. and 80 C.P. &—respectively should be changed to 100 C.P. respectively.- Board instructed Clerk to notify Central Union Tel. Co. to remove pole °'"at rear of 210 South Taylor Street north to the property line as same is -in way of garage. American Telephone & Telegraph Col granted permission to replace 35 /ft pole(orstub) with a 45 ft. pole(or stub) and moving west to rear corner of the Eagles;,` Bldg. now under construction, and replacing your present anchor with an anchor a dis- tance of 15 ft. east of mentioned pole to-faciliate with the construction of the fire escape of said building. The above pole and wire being located :in the a:i_ley between LaSalle Ave. and Madison St. west off of Michigan Street, also to replace the first four poles north of the M.C.R.R. on the east side of Leeper Ave. with taller poles (50 to60 ft-poles) and replace one anchor 20 ft. south of first pole north. of M.C.R.R. and one anchor 20 ft. north of the second pole north of M.C.R.Rt poles and anchors to be located clost to curb between walk and curb line.
