REPORT OF THE BOARD OF PUB?117C CORKS C)F THE CITY OF SOUTH,B. NAiINDIANA. Sewer, Water and (',.as Connections on Keasey Street from Michigan Street to Carroll Street. To the Honorable Council, Gentlemen:— The Board of Public Works herewith represents its report, for the following sewer, gas and -water connections. BOARD OR PUBTjIC T RKS. E. k. MORRIS., RESOLUTION OF THE BOAROF PUBLIC ARKSPresident. . On motion duly made and seconded, the following preamble and resolutions were unanimously adopted: WHEREAS, This Board did on the 31st. day of Au;ust,lla deeM it expedient and of public utility to permanently improve Keasey Street between Michigan and Carroll St. by paving the roadway ©f the same, and did on said date pass and adopt a resolution authorizing said permanent improvement, and WHEREAS, The City Engineering has prepared and filed with t :is Board a report showing the number and location, as well as the material to be used and the manner of laying the same, of the ser ice pipes, mains, conduits, laterals and m nnections which are, or will be, necessary to accommodate the a utting property owners with gas, grater, hest, steam of any other product for which arrj person, firm or CO-poration has been granted a franchise for supplying the ,citizens of the City of South Bend, Indiana, wb i ch report is - s follows BE IT RESOLVED, That said report o 1.' said City Engineer be and is ,hereby adopted* And be i`, further Resolved, That it is coy.- emplated by this Boa„d to improve Keasey Street from Michigan Street to Carroll Street all in said City of South Bend, by construction of a pavement, and that it is, and is hereby so declared necessary for the Northem Indiana Gas and Electric Company, which had, and operates under, a franchise from said city to supply gas to the citizens of said City, to provide and install mains, laterals, service pipes and connections for gas in said part of said street, of the description, location and number set forth in said report of said City Engineer, which mains, service pipes and connections are -Hereby declared necessary for the immediate use of -said Company in supplying gas to theowners of property abutting upon said part of said street.
