Board met in special session at 11:00 A.M, All members present.
Representatives of the South Bend Home Telephone Company and of the Central
Union Telephone Company appeared before the Board.
Mr E. C. Daicey of the South Bend Home Telephone' Company agreed with
the Central Union Telephone Compant's representative that they should build the line
on Michigan Avenue from Wilber Street to Olive Street and that they should send hime a
bill $jYr his one third and he would pay same. Mr. Daicey of the South Bend Home Tel.
Company agreed to confirm this by letter both to the Board of Public Works and the Central
Union Telephone Company.

The Board met in special session, Mr. J. B. Weber absent.
The Following lights were ordered placed by the Board.
Indiana and Michigan Elec. Co. ordered to place lights at the following
locations.
A 90 C.P. Light in the 1st. alley east of High St, on Bowman St.
A 80 C.P. light on Ernsperger Street 9bout one half way between Lincoln
Play east and the Ernsperg4 r Street bridge. Also-. ordered arc: light lowered on the
Frnsperger Street bridge so (that the lamp will hang just below cross beams on the bridge.
A 90 C.P. light at the corner of Walsh and Madison Street, or on the
lst. pole just east thereof.
A 90 C.P. light at the corner of South Fellows St. and E. Donlad St.
An Arc light at the corner of Ewing Avenue and Carroll Sts.
A 60 C.P. light at the corner of Kirby and Paris St.
A 60 C.P. light at the corner of Hildreth and Clover Sts.
Also request said company to turn on the lights nn the Lafayette
Street Blvd and East Jefferson Blvd. as this had been called to their attention in the
past and insist that the contract executed sometime ago must be fulfilled.

the

and Wall St.
at
the

at
the
corner of 17th.
St.
and Vine Street.
The following report was approved by the Board and referred to the Common Council for
ratifications
