Petition filed for Grade, curb amd Macadam Pavement on Leeper Avenue from North line of Angellaa AErenue to Howard Street. The same was read and referred to the City Engineer for n. ( � - - City Gemetery Sexton filed with the Board Financial statement,to July lst. 1915 of the City Cemetery.. p .The South Bend Home Telephone Company ordered notified to remove pole in alley at rear of 909 Forest Avenue about ten feet. Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for Brick pavement on Division Street from Michigan Street to First alley East of Michigan Street, under Improvement ResolUtion No. 361. In the City of South Bend, Indiana... Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six consecutive days in the South Bend Tribune,.commencing on the 12th. day of July 1915 stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 27th. day of July,1915 at 7:45 P.M. Resolved further, hat the entire work under the above contract be accepted and approved and the final iestimated thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 12th. day of July91915 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such wrk at its office in the City Hall on the 27th. day of July91915 at 7:45 PM. The Board ordered the Central Union Tel. Co. to remove a pole owned by their Company in alley at rear of 512 W. Wayne Street to the south about Twelve (121) feet. Presi dent. Tuesday July 6th.91915. P. Lowell from Emeriok Street to East Race, under Condemnation Resolution No. 37. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and.no remonstrances were filed. The Board find that the property mentioned in said rolls are benefitted and damaged, respectively as shown. in said roll is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and all action under Condemnation Resolution No. 37 is hereby concluded. In the matter of the Pavement on Lincoln Way West Pavement from -East ✓line of Olive Street to the West Ci-. y Limits, under Improvement Resoluton No. 357. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. The Board having said matter under advisement by unani mous consent 4.1 decided to rescind all further action on said resolution. Councilemen Seifert appeared before the Board and filed a complaint ,,--,of, defective sidewalk at East Madison Street between Race Bridge and Emerick Street and aftFSouth Side. Also defective walk at Northeast corner ff St. Peter and Madison Street. The same were referred to the City Street Commissioner for a gepo rt. Petition filed with the Board for the oiling of Lindsey Street from v' Harrison Aveme to Portage Avenue. The same was referred to the City Civil Engineer for a resolution. Thirty day notice ordered sent to G. R. Summers for deflective ✓ walk at 716 N. Allen Street, f samer.-isonot put in or repaired in Thirty days, same to be put in by City Contractor under Improvement Resolution No. 366. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. STREET IMPROVEAENT RESOLUTION NO. 397* Be It Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, St. Joseph Gounty, State of Indians, that it is desired and deemed necessary to imp rov e .Lincoln Way West from the East line of Olive Street , northwesterly to the City Limits by oiling the surface twenty four feet in width; oil to be applied to said street once during the year 1915, and if in the judgement of the Board of Public Works,. said street needs.oiling, it shall be oiled a second time. Such oiling shall be done by the Street department of said City, and said department shall file vd th the Board of Public Works statements showing the cost WS doing the above described work. The cost of such oiling shall be paid by the City out of funds in its treasury, and before the first Monday in November the cost of said improvement shall be assessed against the real estate along said street specially benefited, and the City vd ll hold a lien against such real estate for such assessments, all asprovided in Sees. 8743 and of Burns' Rev. :statutes.
