Friday June 25th. 1915.
Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members present.
The Indiana &.Michigan Electric Company was ordered to place the following
lights.
Place a 60 C. P. Incande.scent light in 1st. alley north of Sample Street on
Lincoln Street.
An Are light to be placed at the corner of Division Street and Michigan
Street in the event that the incandescent cluster lights are not turned on, if incan-
descent l$;J;hts are turned on, this light not to go in.
Place $0 0. P. Incandescent light at the corner of Grace and Meade Street,
also the same at Corner of Grace and Olive Street,
Change Are light from Niles Ave. and Howard Street to Corner of Tonti Ave.
and Lafayette Street and install g0 C. P. Incandescent light at Niles and Howard
Street on same post.
Change Are light at north end of Leeper Bridge to the corner of Leeper Ave.
and Howard Street, placing 80 C. P. Incandescent light at Sample Street and Kosciuszko
Street. °
Place 80 0. P. Incandescent lights at the corner of Orange Street and Fremont
Streets.
Three Are lights to be turned on in Studebaker Park and to be placed at
di ection of Mr. Perley Superintendent of Parks, these to be used during the summer
months only and to be turned out at direction of the Board as other Parks.
C The following petitions for lights were ordered rejected by the Board.
Light corner St. Louis and Napoleon Streets.
Light corner of,Rogers and Huey Streets.
Light on alley between La Salle and Colfax Avenue in 900 block. Said
alley.between Cushing and Cottage Grove and runs north and south.
Light at corner of Cottage Grove Avenue arA Oak Street.

Sewer, water and gas connections on TONTI AVENUE from LAPETTE STREET TO
TECUMSEH AVENUE
To the Honorable Council,
Gentlemen:
The Board of Public Works herewith presents its report for the folloWng
sewer, gas and water connections. °
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC 190RKS. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS.
On motion duly made andseconded, the following preamble and resolutions
were unanimously adopted::
11HEREAS. This Board did on the lst day of June,1915- deemed it expedient
and of public utility to permanently improve Tonti Averme between Lafayette Street and
Tecumseh Avenue, by paving the roadway of the same, and did on said date pass and
adopt a resolution authorizing said permanent improvement, and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared and filed with this Board a report
showing the number and location, as well as the material to be used and the manner
of laying the same, of the service pipes, mains, conduits, laterals and connections vtjk
which are, or wi 11 be, necessary to accommodate the abutting property owners with gas,
water heat, steam or any other product for which any person, firm or oa ip oration has ba
been granted a franchise fo-supplying the citizens of the City of South Benda Ind.
