A RESOLUTION OF
cr THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMISSION
APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY
TO THE ST. JOSEPH COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, for the use and benefit of its Department
of Redevelopment ( "Redevelopment "), whose governing body, pursuant to I.C. 36-
7-14-3, is the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission "), is the
owner of the certain real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana and
being more particularly described at Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B," attached
hereto (collectively referred to as the "Real Property ") and;
WHEREAS, the St. Joseph County Airport Authority (the "Airport Authority ")
desires to acquire the Real Property; and
WHEREAS, the Commission desires to transfer title to the Real Property to
the Airport Authority; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 1 -11 -8, Redevelopment may exchange or
transfer property with another governmental entity upon terms and conditions
agreed upon by the two (2) entities as evidenced by the adoption of
substantially identical resolutions of each entity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That for and in consideration of the payment of One Dollar ($1.00) to
the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment by the St. Joseph County
Airport Authority, the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph
County, Indiana, and more particularly at Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B," attached
hereto by the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment to the St. Joseph
County Airport Authority shall be, and hereby is, approved, subject to the
adoption by the St. Joseph County Airport Authority of a resolution
substantially similar in its terms to the terms of this resolution.
2. That the President and Secretary, respectively of the Commission,
respectively, are authorized and directed to execute and attest to the
execution of a quitclaim deed conveying all of the right, title and interest
in and to the Real Property to the St. Joseph County Airport Authority.
3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its
adoption.
ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission
held on June 16, 1995, at 1308 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson
Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.

EAST ADJACENT PARCEL
Part of the Southeast Quarter (SEIi) of Section 20, Township 38
North, Range 2 East, Situate in German Township, St. Joseph County,
State of Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a one inch iron pipe with a cap stamped "M &B 13"
marking the Northwest corner of the Southeast Quarter (SEli) of said
Section 20; thence South 00 degrees 19 minutes 53 seconds East
along the West line of the Southeast Quarter (SEIi) of said Section
20 a distance of 427.00 feet to a drill hole set in concrete, said
point being the Southwest corner of land conveyed to the State of
Indiana in Deed Record 538, Page 72; thence continuing South 00
degrees 19 minutes 53 seconds East along the West line of the
Southeast Quarter (SEIi) of said Section 20 a distance of 44.25 feet
to a drill hole set in concrete on the North right -of -way line of
the F. Jay Nimtz Parkway; thence North 89 degrees 40 minutes 07
seconds East along the North right -of -way line of said F. Jay Nimtz
Parkway (80 foot right -of -way) a distance of 786.63 feet; thence
continuing North 89 degrees 40 minutes 07 seconds East along the
North right -of -way line of said F. Jay Nimtz Parkway (80 foot
right -of -way) a distance of 477.78 feet to a one inch iron pipe
with a cap stamped "M &B 13" marking the point of curvature of a
tangent curve to the right having a radius of 1640.00 feet and a
central angel of 21 degrees 47 minutes 52 seconds; thence
Eastwardly and Southeastwardly along the North right -of -way line of
said F. Jay Nimtz Parkway and along said curve a distance of 623.93
feet to the place of beginning of this description; thence North 00
degrees 19 minutes 53 seconds West parallel with the East line of
land conveyed to the Board of Aviation Commissioners of St. Joseph
County, Indiana in Deed Record 246, Page 274 a distance of 570.72
feet to the North line of the Southeast Quarter (SEli) of said
Section 20 and the North line of said Commissioners land; thence
South 89 degrees 47 minutes 15 seconds East along the said North
line a distance of 100.00 feet to the Northeast corner of said
Commissioners land; thence South 00 degrees 19 minutes 53 seconds
East along the East line of said Commissioners land a distance of
613.68 feet to a point on the North right -of -way line of said F.
Jay Nimtz Parkway; thence Northwestwardly along the North right -of-
way line of said F. Jay Nimtz Parkway and a non - tangent curve to
the left having a radius 1640.00 feet and a long chord bearing of
North 66 degrees 37 minutes 31 seconds West and a long chord
distance of 109.22 feet to the place of beginning of this
description.
