A RESOLUTION OF
THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY
FROM THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, (the "City ") is the owner
of the certain real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana and
being more particularly described as follows:

Lot Numbered Twenty -two (22) as shown on the recorded Plat of
Wenger and Krieghbaum's First Addition to the City of South
co Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana recorded April 2, 1892 in
the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana, in
Plat Book 6, page 1. Key No. 18- 7009 -0366
(hereinafter referred to as the Real Property) and;
WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 9 -6 -3, said Real Property is under the
exclusive control of the Board of Public Works for the City of South
(hereinafter referred to as the "Board "); and
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment
(Redevelopment), acting by and through the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission ( "Commission "), hereby expresses its desire to acquire Real
Property from the City; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 1 -11 -8, the City may exchange or
transfer property with another governmental entity upon terms and
conditions agreed upon by the two (2) entities as evidenced by the
adoption of substantially identical resolutions of each entity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph
County, Indiana, and more particularly as follows:
Lot Numbered Ninety -seven (97) as shown on the recorded Plat of
Wenger's Fourth Addition to the City of South Bend, recorded
November 22, 1890 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph
County, Indiana, in Plat Book 5, page 40. Key No. 18- 7022 -0857
Lot Numbered Eighty -seven (87) as shown on the recorded Plat of
Wenger's Fourth Addition to the City of South Bend, recorded
November 22, 1890 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph
County, Indiana, in Plat Book 5, page 40. Key No. 18- 7021 -0826
Lot Numbered Twenty -two (22) as shown on the recorded Plat of
Wenger and Krieghbaum's First Addition to the City of South
Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana recorded April 2, 1892 in
the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana, in
Plat Book 6, page 1. Key No. 18- 7009 -0366
by the City of South Bend, Indiana to the City of South Bend, Department
of Redevelopment shall be, and hereby is, accepted.
2. That upon receipt of fully executed quitclaim deed to the Real
Property from the City, the Director of Redevelopment is hereby
authorized and directed to cause the recording of said quitclaim deed in
the Office of the St. Joseph County Recorder.
3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its
adoption.
ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held
on November 17, 1995, at 1308 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson
Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
