RESOLUTION RELATED TO ACQUISTION OF PROPERTY IN THE
SOUTH BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, in
furtherance of the South Bend Central Development Area Development Plan, to acquire
unencumbered fee title to the real estate identified on attachment "A" in the South Bend Central
Development Area in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission as follows:
The Executive Director is authorized and directed to cause a notice and offer in
writing to be made to the owner(s) identified on Attachment "A" at the indicated
price and upon the indicated terms.
2. In the event the owner(s) identified on Attachment A reject the Commission's offer
for the property, the Executive Director shall report the same to the Commission,
but is not authorized hereby to encourage any counter offer or any other purchase
price for the property other than that authorized hereby.
Adopted at the Regularly Scheduled Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission held on October 4, 1996 at 1308 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson
Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
