A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
APPROVING THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COMMISSION
AND WALKER PARKING CONSULTANTS /ENGINEERS, INC. TO THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission
(hereinafter, the Commission)approved a contract with Walker
Parking Consultants /Engineers, Inc. (hereinafter Walker) on
December 6, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the Commission authorized Walker to proceed with
the Schematic Design Phase for the sum of $80,000.00 to be paid
from TIF revenues; and
WHEREAS, Economic Development Income Tax (EDIT) revenues
have been appropriated in an amount sufficient to proceed with a
portion of the remaining work; and
WHEREAS, the Commission is desirous of assigning its
interest in the contract with Walker to the Board of Public
Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND
REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the assignment of the contract between the
Commission and Walker to the Board of Public Works shall be, and
hereby is, approved.
2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
upon its adoption by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission.
ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission held at 1300 County -City Building, 227 W. Jefferson
Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601 on February 21, 1997.
