A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY
TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment
(Redevelopment) is the owner of the following described real property situated in St. Joseph
County, Indiana:
See Exhibit A attached
(hereinafter referred to as the Real Property), and;
WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 7 -14 -3, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission
(Commission) is the governing body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment
and, pursuant to I.C. 36 -7 -14 -12.2 may dispose of the Real Property; and
WHEREAS, the Commission, is desirous of transferring the property to the City of South
Bend, Indiana, for the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 1 -11 -8, Redevelopment, acting through the Commission
and the City, acting by and through the Board of Public Works (Board), may exchange or transfer
property with one another upon terms and conditions agreed upon by the two (2) entities as
evidenced by the adoption of substantially identical resolutions of each entity; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works, at its meeting of V?-- Z 9 , 1999, will
consider its Resolution No. 4_, accepting the transfer of the Real Property from the City
of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND
REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and
generally described as follows:
See Exhibit A attached
for the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00), by the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of
Redevelopment to the City of South Bend, Indiana, for subsequent transfer to American Home
Dreams, Inc., shall be, and hereby is, approved.
2. That the President and Secretary of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission
shall be, and hereby are, authorized, respectively, to execute and attest to the execution of a
quitclaim deed conveying all of the right, title and interest in the Real Property to the City of
South Bend, Indiana.
3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption by the South
Bend Redevelopment Commission.
ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held at 1300
County -City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601 on
ILQQ.f_ . 1-7 , 1999.

A part of the west half of the Northeast Quarter Section 13, Township 37 north range 2 east, City of South
Bend, Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana; more particularly described as follows:
Lots 27, 28, 32 as shown on the recorded Plat of Southeast Neighborhood Redevelopment, Phase One,
Section Three Subdivision, City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, recorded December 2, 1999,
and numbered 9960016 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana.
A part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 27 north range 2 east, City of South Bend,
Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana; more particularly described as follows:
The West Forty (40) Feet in width and 152.83 feet in length of Lot Numbered 5A as shown on the
recorded Plat of American Home Dreams Replat, City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana,
recorded August 22, 1997 and numbered 9734390 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County,
Indiana; previously Lot Numbered Seventy (70) in Haney's Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana.
