HomeMy WebLinkAboutNo. 1806 amending pending liquor permit application (Morris Performing Arts Center)RESOLUTION NO. 1806 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AMENDING PENDING LIQUOR PERMIT APPLICATION WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (hereafter "SBRC ") has recently applied for a Beer, Wine and Liquor Retailer's Permit and a Beer, Wine and Liquor Sunday Sales Permit on behalf of the Morris Performing Arts Center, which application is now pending before the Indiana Alcoholic Beverage Commission; and WHEREAS, the SBRC has been advised by the Alcoholic Beverage Commission that it can no longer hold such permit with the present membership composition of the Commission; and WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority is an appropriate City entity to hold these liquor permits. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION that the SBRC's pending application for a Beer, Wine and Liquor Retailer's Permit and Sunday Sales Permit on behalf of the Morris Performing Arts Center be amended to delete the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (SBRC) as the holder of such permits and to substitute in its place the South Bend Redevelopment Authority.
