Agenda: Bill No. 40-11 —Appropriation Conservatory
Bill No. 41-11 —Appropriation Miracle Park
Bill No. 11-47—Quality Animal Control
Committee Member David Varner called the meeting to order at 4:35 p.m.
Two factors required all three bills on the agenda be continued until July 25, 2011.
First, Mayor Luecke asked the capital appropriations in Bill No. 40-11for the Potawatomi
Conservatory and Bill No. 41-11 for Miracle Park be continued citing better information coming for
the Conservatory and land, revisions for the Park.
Secondly, with three Councilmember's expected to be absent from this evenings meeting, the
Mayor felt it was, best to discuss the proposals before the full Council.
Councilmember Varner took the opportunity to suggest Miracle Park located some where near
Coveleski Stadium to provide a synergistic economic impact for the downtown.
The final item on the agenda Bill No. 11-47 sponsored by Councilmember Varner was also reset
for July 25,2011 at this request.
Committee Member Varner adjourned the meeting at 4:40 p.m.
