EAST FOUNDATION WALL DRAINAGE SYSTEM
PROJECTED COST OF CONSTRUCTION

Due to the existing conditions of the Island Park perimeter east walls, the newly completed pavement
resurfacing has experienced settlement due to the loss of the supporting sub -grade fill from the flow of
storm water through the walls. The area appears to be along the southern half of the perimeter east walls.
Architecture Design Group, Inc. (ADG) has prepared preliminary design sketches to address the situation
with a new combination surface and sub -grade collection and drainage system.
We have shared our preliminary design sketches with two local general contracting firms to estimate the
costs of construction for the drainage system. The projected cost of construction for the work is $28,500,
and will include all contractor general conditions, demolition, earthwork, and concrete surfacing
replacement.
We recommend a not -to- exceed cost of construction equal to $30,000.
