Attached to this staff report is a professional service contract from Danch, Harner &
Associates to close out the design and construction oversight of the Oliver Industrial Park
Memorial and Walkway project. The contract is in the not -to- exceed amount of $4,500.00
and would aid in project management for the final project details including signage
installation, light installation and coordination, landscape in -field design and statue erection
and placement.
Staff requests Commission approval of this proposal.

Re: Revised Proposal for Professional Design Services:
a) Historical /Informational Sign Panels
Dear Mr. Schalliol,
Per your request, please accept this proposal for providing revised professional
services for your consideration. This proposal covers the additional services we
have provided as requested by the City, which included coordinating the design
and layout of the historic /informational panels with Fossil Graphics, Inc. and
supervision to the ongoing construction of the Oliver Chilled Plow Memorial.
Task 1: Revised Historical - Informational Sign Design & Coordination:
a) This revised task included organizing text, photographic, and graphic
illustrative information on ten (10) 18" x 24" panels. These panels will
include a common theme throughout and portray the history of James
Oliver, the Chilled Plow, and the Oliver Company. We worked closely with
Fossil Graphics and spent additional staff time to ensure that the
information and design quality fit the Oliver Chilled Plow Memorial project.
The panels were submitted to you for final approval before manufacturing.
Cost for this task would be $2,000.
Task 2: Construction / Design Supervision:
a) This task will included additional time spent to provided oversight for the
current Oliver Chilled Plow.
