The May 9, 2006 meeting of the Community and Economic Development Committee
was called to order by its Chairperson, Councilmember Roland Kelly, at 3:30 p.m. in the
Council Informal Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Puzzello, Professor Martin Wolfson,
Presenter and Citizen Member on the Community and Economic Development
Committee, ramie Loo, South Bend Tribune, Rita Kopala, Andy Laurent, Sharon
Kendall, Sandy Adler, Dan Inks, Mayor Luecke, Bob Mathia
Agenda -Report from Professor Martin Wolfson nn the IUSB Community and Economic
Development Conference held last April.
Professor Wolfson's presentation and report is described in the attached handout titled:

Community and Economic Development Conference handout - 90 attendees at ED forum
representing labor, academia forum summarized work of a couple of ED task forces.

There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member Pfeifer
adjourned the meeting at 4:45 p.m.
