Bring your friends and family and celebrate summer with ice cream, popcorn, music, puppeteers, balloon artists, chalk on the walk, face painting, and more! Fun by the Fountain is sponsored by Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend & St. Joseph County, City of South Bend, Morris Performing Arts Center, Downtown South Bend, Inc., and U93. It is part of South Bend City Celebration 2007, a yearlong festival of events and programs held on the 29th of every month to showcase all that our community has to enjoy. Locales include the Pierre Navarre Cabin at Leeper Park, the Muessel-Ellison & Ella Morris Greenhouse & Conservatories, Howard Park Ice Rink, St. Joseph Co. Public Library, the College Football Hall of Fame, Northern Indiana Center for History, South Bend Regional Museum of Art, Studebaker National Museum, City Cemetery, Coveleski Stadium, and the Jon Hunt Plaza (in front of the Morris Performing Arts Center). Each event has been designed to entertain residents and visitors from ages 3 to 103.
