A regular meeting of the Board of Public Safety vvas held on llZonday,
August 10, 1942 at 10 :30 A. P��. All members were present. �Zinutes of the
last meeting were read and approved. Salary claims, in the amount of _ � �
�23,436.74 were approved and ordered paid. Claims of the follo�ving
suppliers, in the amount of �963.99 yrere approved and ordered paid.

ment was received from Casimir Salata, 615 S. Grant St. This applica-
tion rvas ordered filed.
' Bonds vrere received for Special Police officers Dewey D�rling and
Hobart V. Stiunmy, employed by the South Bend Lathe ��'dorks. These bonds
were approved and ordered filed. �
Chief Ingram reported that Officer Ed�vard Notivak had been inducted
into the armed forces of the United States, August 5, 1942, and is to be
paid until Au�ust 18, 1942
