Clerk. P��EETING -- OCTOBER 30, 1941 � A special meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held on Friday, at 11!:00 A. T�r7. All members ��vere present. At tnis meeting, the Board took notice of the fact that Capta�in Geor�e Kasa �vas to be retired, effective Idovember l, 1941, and thereafter, on motion duly made, seconded a.nd unanimousl�� carried, the follovving rescluticn �r�as adopted: That, Joseph Torok be promoted from Lieutenant to Captain, to fill the vacancy caused by the retirement of Captain George Kasa. Thereafter, on �otion duly made, seconded and unanimousl�T carried, the follo��ring resolution vras adopte3. • That, Stanley Rako�vski be promoted from private to Lieutenant to fill thE vacancy caused by the pror�.otion of Caption Torok. On motion dul�r made, seconded and unanimousl� carr�ied, the follov�ing resolution vJas adopted; That, John Hadricl�, is no�v a�pointed to the Fire Department, after having successfully passed the ph;�sicial examina- tion b�r the Police and rirer�en�s physician and the ph�sician appointed by the Firemen�s Pension Board. This appoint-ee to begin duty as of' ' Novem.ber lst, 1941, and serve as probationary fireman for six month ', at a �IOn�hly salary of �150.00. This appointment is �ade after T:r.
