to Captain Everett by Franci.s J. Bock. The resignation vras acted upon I
f avorably, to become effective, October 15, 1941. ,
'� There being no further business to come before the Boarci, the meeting
adjourned -at 4 :30 t. 112.

Officer Richard Stickley appeared in person and by Harry Taylor, as I
his attorney, and after hearing had and consultation by the members of !
the Board, the iollotiving order ti�as made. ,

That Cfficer Stickley had violated Rule #8 of the Rules �and Regula- I
tions of the Police Department of the City of South Bend and tivas suspended �
for a period of thirty da;�s, from the 27th day of September to the 27th �
day of October, 1941. . '
CfficEr poyal Rhymer appeared in person and by Harry Taylor, as his
2ttorney, and after hearing had and consultation by tne �embers of th° i
Board, thE following order was made. ;
That T�oyal Rhymer had violated Rule �18 and Rule �12 of the Rules i
and Rebul€�tions af the Polic° Department oi the City of South Bend, and
��uas susper�ded for a period of eleven da�s, from the 29th day of September
to the lli;h day of October, 1941, together ��rith a vrarning fror.l the Board,
that the ��.rrangements made by said Officer Rh,,rm.er, for the payment of
his past ctue obli�,ations shQuld be carried ou� completely. -
There being no furthar business to come before the 3oard, the meetino
adjourned at 12 :12 P. Li. �
