' can Legion,River Park Post �303, asking that a stop light cr a policeman j be installed at the intersection of Fmerson Ave. , and TrSishawaka Ave. , to ' take, care of the school children crossing at that point. This letter was turned over to Chief Ingram. � Sergeant Daniel J. Koegan tendered 'nis resignation from the Police Department to take effect September lcs, 1941. The Board accepted his resignation. A bond, in the amount of �1000.00 i�Jas received f'or Special Police f}fficer Noble S. Rorer. This bond T,aas �approved and ordered filed. A bond, in the amount of �1000.00 vras received for Special Police Officer Edgar D. Rose. This bond was approved and ordered filed. Applications for appointment as Special Police Officers bvere receiv- ed from EdVrard '"�itucki, 1910 Catalpa Ave. , Cl�rde ��ti'. Vaughn, 307 La Porte Avenue and Floyd 0. Hurnmer, al1 to be employed by the Studebaker Corpora- tion. These applicaticns zvere approved, to be held until the men are sworn in and bonds received covering them. Applications for appointr:ent as Special Police zvere received from Slyvester Okonsl�i, R.F.D. �4 Niles, T��ich. 'a'lilliam xosinski, 1211 ��. Ford St. South Bend, Ind.
