This bond ,�as approved and ordered filed. � The Police Department submitted their -report for the month of Au;ust, 19 40. • The follov�ring rssolution vras today adopted bg the Board: _nti,�ereas, the Board has been informed that on the 12th day of x:'arch � � • 1939, Consuelo Leslie, acting clerk in the Police Department, was ' - discharged by the T:Sayor, and vrhereas; the quest�on has been - raised as to the right o� the P�tlayor to discharge said acting clerk, " Y104J� therefore, be it resolved by the Bot�rd of Public �'dorks and Safety, that the acticn of the Pdayor in discharging Consuelo Laslie on the 12th day of P.Tarch, 1939 , is hereby confirmed, ratified and approved. " Be it further resolved that � copy of this resolution be mailed by registered m�il to Consuelo Leslie at her last knozvn address.
