Burns i�as present and filed his report for the tiveel� ending Decer�ber 16, 1939. ; � The Board has been advised by the Common Council that the merchants tivho I are usin� the sidetiralks for the display of fruit, met before the� on Tuesday, ', l; Dece:;iber 12th, askin� far lenienc;� in the enforce�;:ent of the ordinance . prohibi�ing such practice, and t he Council recor�ended tha� the Board permit ' reasonable use of side�ralks for display of inerchandise until January lst, ' 1940, a� tis�nich time the ordinance is to be rigorousl� enforced.
