' report to the Police and Fire Surgeon f or examination and �lso to the doc-
tor desygnated by the �irerien's Pensicn .�und and must successfully pass
both examinations before his appointment shall be c�nfir�ed.

'/The Board received a corlmunication from Dr. R. H. Thomas, 1,7.D. rela-
tive to failure of Officer Jo�eph Ball to pay his bill. The matter tivas
referred to Chief ingram for his attention.
'�Chief Ingrnm reported that he had a repert from the Federal Bureau of
Investigation that their quota �ras iilled for this terr.i of school and could
nct tal�e a man fro�. the Sou�n Bend department until tne nex� session t��hich
probably v�ill be in October.
