SOUTH BEND LEAF VAC PROGRAM UPDATE — Week 3
The City of South Bend is pleased to announce that the 2006 Operation ReLeaf loose leaf
pickup program is running efficiently and on schedule. Leaf pickup crews have collected 30,000
cubic yards to date, but estimate that there are approximately 40,000 cubic yards yet to be
collected before winter weather sets in. Residents are urged to take advantage of loose leaf
pickup in their areas, or bag their leaves for pickup at curbside on their regular trash days.
The loose leaf pickup schedule for the week of November 13 — 17 is as follows:
Monday,Nov. 13 ...............South East Quadrant..............Ewing St. to Ireland Rd.
Tuesday,Nov. 14...............South East Quadrant..............Ireland Rd. to City Limits
Wednesday,Nov. 15..........South West Quadrant.............City Limits to Indiana Ave.
Thursday,Nov. 16.............South West Quadrant.............Indiana Ave. to Western Ave.
Friday,Nov. 17..................South West Quadrant.............Western Ave. to Washington St.
