Luecke, Mayor RELEASE FROM: FOR RELEASE: Mikki Dobski, Communications &Special Projects FRIDAY,APRIL 22, 2005 South Bend's Spring Releaf Program Extended Through Friday, April 29 Mayor Luecke has extended South Bend's spring leaf collection through Friday April 29, 2005 to assist residents with Spring Cleanup around the City. Spring Releaf is operated on a call-in basis and crews have been busy collecting loose leaves daily. South Bend residents are encouraged to take advantage of the weekend to get the last of their leaves to the curb. Residents are asked to please call the Bureau of Streets at 235-9244 to request a pickup. FYI - South Bend's automatic Yard Waste program offered through the Bureau of Solid Waste has begun! Each week, residents may place their yard waste at the curb on their normal trash collection day for pickup. No call-ins necessary for yard waste pickup.
