Luecke, Mayor RELEASE FROM: FOR RELEASE: Parks and Recreation Department June 20, 2005 Hook A Girl on Golf Program Returns A great program to help young girls interest in golf returns again to Blackthorn Golf Course. The Hook A Girl on Golf program will take place on Thursday, July 7. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with instruction starting at 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Cost to participate is only$5.00. The clinic is for both middle school and high school girls who are interested in learning how to play golf or want to go out for their high school golf teams in the coming fall. The program is geared towards novices, but experienced golfers can benefit from the information. Pre-registration is requested for planning purposes by Tuesday, July 5th by calling Studebaker Golf Course at(574) 287-6634.
