Mr. E. T. Bonds, Mgr- Central Union Telephone Company vdth Mr. Horst and
Mr. Wilber Engineers and Mr. Elmer E. Dkicey, Mgr. The South Be -id H6me Telephone Co.
appeared before the Board at their request. The matter of comp.lying Vd th the under
groudd Ordinance No. 1690 in this City by both companies was dicussedbut both
companies thought changes were necessary in said Ordinance beofrethe-, could comply
with it. The Board infemed them that any changes that would be made in Ordinance
No. 1660 would; have to be made by the Common Council. It was decided. bit both
companies that they wofild take this matter up with_theCommon Council at their
next regular meeting. Monday April 5th.,1915.

I hax;e plans for the construct -ion of a small modern garage upon the north
end of my residence premises N6,803 W. Washington Avenue. Wish to plate a laundry
in 1he basement which is 8-1/2 to 9 ft. below the surface grade at the location men-
tioned Hence petition through you the sour ce for obtaining a permit to. run, a sewer
connecti-on through the alley in the rear of said premises leading north to a Colfax
Ave. street c-ewer and connectiAg thereto. This grade is about five feet below than
on the Washington street front and would -enable me to make the laundry scheme
as arranged in a nuch more practical manner. and as I believe the only possibale,
plan on account of Washinton Street grade -Would in any event avertinterference' t1vit k
the Street Car Co's tracks* For thisand all good and sufficient reasons I do most
respectfully, petition the Hon. Body to whom I refer through you for the per*:Lt and

approvdd by the Board.
