Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. ' All members present.
Mr. Samuel Leeper appeared before the Board with regard to a petition which
J was filed with the Board recently fora pipe seweron Leeper Avenue% and requested the
Board to change such pet tion, to rend instead of Leeper Avenue, . Pokagen venue from
Tecumseh Street to Leeper Averme. The said would be gr.-Ated providing Mr. Leeper
cou1-d get a right of way across the Uich*gam, Central Ry. cr®rping. Mr. Leeper to take
this natter up 'with' the Ry • Company and report to the Board.
'Mr. Richard Elbel, President.of the Park Commissioners appeared before the
J Board with Mr. Spencer of the A.R.&T. Company in regard to the removal of poles air]
wires from New bridge in Leeper Park. Mr., Beaning, Mr. Moore and Xr. Spencer to look or
over situation s....id see what change could be made and report at meeting at 7:45 P.M this
day.
Mr. Elbelasked that a Home Telephone be placed 'in their Park Superintendefl
/ Mr. Perley's residence. The Board took the same under -advisement. Also the matter
of furnishing a new office for the Park Board and Mr.. Moore City Engineer taking ease of
,the Park work. The Board took these matters under advisement.

Indiana Ave me from Miami Street to Marine Street, under Improvement Resolution No.
363. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter a remonstrator appeared'but no remonstrances were
filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed March
2nd. 1915 is bexefitted in the' an.ount of assessments as shown. on sad rolls, and the Board
further find that the assessment rolls filed March 2nd 1915 and the final estivate allowed
March 2nd.1915 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratifled, confirmed and
Approved.

No. 274.In the City of South Bend., Indiana..
In the above matter no remonstrators. appeared and no remonstrances
were filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed
March 2nd.1915 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and
the Board further find that the assessment roll filed Mareh. 2nd.1915 and the final esti-
mate alloyed March 2nd. 1915 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified,
confirmed and approved.
Deferred herring had on assessment roll for the widening of Terrace
Aventie from Woodward Avenue to Portage Avenue,tinder Condemnation Resolution. No. 34*ix
the City of South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter Mr. Titus Jones, attorney for Thomas Williams
LIZ appeared before the Board and remonstranced against amount of damages. Mr. Byron Miller
appeared and remonstranced against benefits. The Board deferred all action on said
roll untill Tuesday March 30th.,1915 at 7:45 P.M.
Clerk instructed to notify Mr.'E. T. ones of Central Union Tel. loo.
and Mr-. E1meR E.Daicy of The South Bend Home Telephone Company to be present at netting
of the Board on F. iday March 26th.1915 at 10:00 A.M.
dr. Elbel president of the Park Board and Mr. Spencer of the A.T.&T.Co.
appeared before the Board and reported onthe removal of the poles and wires off of the
bridge in Leeper-Park and North Mich.Street. The same was tak#n under advisement.
Mr. Spencer to notify the Board if agreeable with his company.
The City Civil Engineer filed reports recommending the fallowing
petitions: -
Pavement on 1st alley east of St. Joseph St. from Wayne -Street to
r/lst alley east of St. Joseph Street. Resolution ordered prepared an' same.

Cement walks on Broadway from Main Street to Franklin Street.

Pipe sewer on Bowman Street from Boman Creek Trunk sewer to Michigan
,Street, resolution ordered prepared.
t/ Pipe sower on South Fellows Street from Duba,il Avenue -to the first
alley south. Resolution ordered prepared.
Grade, curb and walk on East Dayton Street from Marine Street to
,� Leer Street. Resolution ordered prepared.

Board placed same on file.

Sewer on, Niles ,Avenue fro n Sorin Street to Corby Street. placed on file.
Cement sidewalk on east side of High Street from Broadway to Penn. Ave
Placed on file.
Curb and walk on Hill Street from Corby Street. to Howard- ,Street. Placed

Cement walk and curbs on Franklin Street from Broadway to Calvert St.

Petition filed With the"Board for a pipe sewer on Olive Street from
Linden Street t6 Washington Avenue. The same was.,referred to the City Engineer for
investigation.
Application for the setting of Bill board on W. Division Street at cor..
1/ of alley between. Main and South Lafayette Streetm by the South Bend Billposting Co.
was approved by the Beard.
Application for the setting f a billboard on E. Lincoln Hi way by'the
Kale and Bryan Company was approved by the Board.

1915, the following motion prevailed:
'MOTION BY COUNCILMAN HAGERTY:
Imove that the City Clerk notify the Board of Public Works to have the
first alley west of Main Street between Washington Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard,
opened for traffic.

Three 90 candle power incandescent lights on Tutt Street starting with
41"the 1st. alley E.of Michigan Street and ending at the south tArn in TtttStreet.The Are
light now there to be discontinued. The placing of the cove lights to be designated by
Thomas Beaning Pole and Wire Inspector of-t'he City.,
One Are light placed on Corner of Robtnson and Calvert Street.
One Are light at corner of Catalpa Avenue and Indiana Avenue.
By unanimous consent the Board ordered an,autbmebile truck for the
Engineering Department from the Studebaker Corporation, the price of same to be $949.00
