Mr. Crumpacker, attorney for the Vandalia Railroad Cor,,pany appeared e,fo e the Board and discussed the rail,oa:d eompa.ny's assessment on the Bo-vkma.n Creek runk sewer. Petition filed with® the Board` for a pipe sewer on East Bowman Street from Michigan Street to Bowman Creek Trunk sewer. The same was read and referred to the City Civil`Entineer for investigation and report. Petitions filed by Wm Goebel, Councilman of the Seventh Ward for sidewalk and curb on E. Dayton Street°from Maur e Street to Leer Street, and for / sidewalk oil South High Street from E. Penn Ave. to E. -Broadway was referred back for more signatures. Contractors bond for the sumof One Thousand (,0+,1,000.00)Dollars signed by John Sidman as princcppl` and °United SIates Fidel tyomndr pu.aranty Company of B ✓Balitmore. Md. was approved by the Board. = Bill received from Henry L. Spohn against Stei,rart-Sheets Company for defective walk at corner of kicni ;an and Ewing Avenue for the amount of $12.OG !/was placed on file. Permission was granted to the Central -Union Telephone Company to set'two poles on the south sine of alley between Miner and Cedar Streets, east of Arthur St re et . Excavation Bond for $1,000.00 signed by J-11. Ha«ublitzel as principal And Massachusetts Boxiding and Ind.surance Company as sureties, was approved by the Board. Mr. Daniel Rich, attorney with Mr. Wm. Holland appeared before the' Board in regard .to the assessment on the Bo -lean Creek Trunk sewer against the Sibley Machine Tool Company, and discussed the same with the Board. Councilman Wm. uoebel filed a complaint of a bad hole at the switch ✓, of the Northern Indiana Ry. Company south of Sample Street on South Michigan Street. The same was referred to the St. Commissioner for investigation. President. 8 Board met in regular session at 7:4-9 P.M. All members p reseht. Meeting held in Common Council Chambers on account of large crowd of property holders appearing for hearing on Bowman Creek trunk sewer assessment roll. Hearing on on Assessment roll and final estimate for Bowman Creek Trunk sewer, under Improvement Resolution No. 19121912. from St. Joseph -River to Jay Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter remonstrators appeared and remonstrances were tiled as follows.:(Eckler Mfg. Company, by Geo. Sands, attorney, Awry R. Riley & William R. Innes for Dora L. Innes estate by Harry R. Wair their attorney, Birdse_l Mfg. Company by J. B. Baker attorney, Shively estate by Dudley M. Shively and New York Central R. R. by Van Fleet, Hubbel & Dinan their attorneys5)and Adelbert & Chas. Kinyon.) In the above matter the Board decided to defer hearing on said roll until Wednesday February 17th.71915 at 4:30 P.M. Deputy Street Commissioner made report on lip at £12 19. Jefferson )-Blvd. the Board ordered that same should be moved from S12 W. Jefferson Blvd to 911 W.VJefferson Blvd. at alley east of Laurel Street. President.
