Tuesday November 24th.,1914.
Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members present.
Mr. L. Hammerscnmidt appeared before the Board representing the Stewart —
Sheets Company, relative to a partial estimate on the Bo=an Creek Trunk sewer. The Board
agreed to allow same, if agreeable with the Banding Company.
Mr.. W. G. Crabill attorney for the Grand Trunk Western Ry. Company appeared
before the Board and asked for the Board's approval of —a single track bridge to replace
d the old bridge over St. :,Peter Street in this City. The new bridge to:. be for .,single
track purposes only. The Board unanimously approved the blue print and plarL for the
above purposes only.
Partial estimate allowed H. L. Davis on grading of Dubail Avenue for the
amount of...................................................................$553.43
Partial estimate allowed L. H. Webster for.the pipe sewer on Indiana
Avenue for the amount of....................................................$2,477.69
The Board instructed the City Engineer to make assessments on both sides
of Indiana Avenue a distance back of 130 fto for pipe sewer on Indiana Avenue, under
Inprovel- ent Resolution. No. 326. -
Engineer Bled assessments roll and final estimate for pipe sewer on
/ Duba it Ave_iue from Carroll Street to Miami Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 332
in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
.Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published on the
30th. , clay of November,1914 and on the 7th., day of De cember,1914 in the South Bend Daily
Tribune, stating that t,-is Board will F,-ive a hearing on the amount of such assessments at
it office i. l the City Hall on the 15th. , day, of Decembex.1914 at 7:45 P.M.
Resolved further, that the enti le work under the above contract be accepted
and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be
published on the 30th. day of November,1914 and on the 7tr!., day of Decemb-_r,1914 in the
South Bend Daily Tribune, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of
such work at its office in the City Hall on the 15th., day of December,
l914 at 7:45 P.M.

J Hearing had on roll showing awards of damages and assessments of
benefits in the matter of the opening of Calvert Street from MichiganStreet to Mein
Street, under Condemnation *Resolution No. 30. In the City of Sough Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter remonstrators appeared ad follows,: Mr. Dudley
M. Shively, Mr. Row, Attorney Vitus Jones, representing Mrs Row, Mr. Jacob Kuntz
and Mr. J. Beyers� and Mr. Noah Lehmann, representing Mrs. Hoke. Two rerlionstrances
were filed. The Board after due consideration decided to defer their decision until
Tuesday December nth . ,1914 at 7:45 P .lq.
The following telegram was received from the Southern Surety Co.

Hearing had on Va-cation of an alley bordering on Lots 10,11,and 4
and S. 1/2 Lot 3 in Stover and Witwerys Addition, in the city of South Bend, Ind.
In the above' matter the Board decided to defer all action until Tuesday December &th.

In the the matter of the hearing on pavement on Division Street
from Michigan Street to St. Joseph Street, under IMprovement Resolution No. 361, the
Board decided to defer all action until December lst.,1914 at 7:45 P.M.
