Bids were received for the printing of Five Thousand Legal notices on Condemnation assessments, and Two Thousand Complaint sheets. The contract for the legal notices was awarded to the Peerless Press for the sum of $19.75- /The contract for the complaint sheets' was awarded to H. A. Pershing; for the sum of $5.00 Communication received from the Oliver .Chilled Plow Company relative to detective walk on south Chapin Street. The same was referred to the Street Com— missiorfer for investigation. r and and contract for the construction of curb and via lk on South side of Fox Street from Miami Street to E. line of Demlc rls Addition,under Improvement Resolution, V/ No. 342,, signed by Louis Zeiger of Mishawaka, Indiena as principal and Illinois Surety Company as sureties, was approved by the Board. The Board ordered thct Vh.,: Electric light nvnvlocated at the Corner of Sherman Avenue and Portage Avenue moved to the connQr of Portage Avenue and Vassar Ave. Also that the Electric light now located at the lst. alley West of Main Street on La Salle Avenue be moved to Portage.Avenue and Allen Street.i ' Communication received from Pole and Wire Inspector Thos. A. Beaning requesting the Board to notify the Companies laying underground conduit to leave one conduit or lateral for the use of the police and fire alarms. A copy of the letter received was ordered sent to the companies laying underground. Communication received and read from the Welsbach Street Lighting``, Company of America; relative to the contract to street lighting. The same was read d and placed on file. Communication received from the Indiana & Michigan Electric Co. stating that underground street light was placed in service on Vistula Avenue in front of /ttie Avenue Hotel 9-14-14 President.
