The LaSalle Hotel ballroom is flooded; we think this is due to fi•ozen roof drainpipes when the snow
melted on the roof above the ballroom on the second floor.
Staff has acquired two bids to repair the roof. One bid in the amount of$1,000.00 and another in the
amount of$675.00.
� Staff has selected Morris & Sons Roofing, Inc. to repair the roof at a cost of$675.00.
� The flooding also caused excessive damage to the carpet in the Ballroom and had to be removed.

� CB Richard Ellis maintenance crew removed the damaged carpet at a cost of$1,370.00. �

� All water has been removed from the floor, and the floor is drying out. The base floor does not
� appear to have excessive damage

� GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1) Remove carpet and carpet padding on second floor(approximately 30`x 40'). Remove parquet flooring that has buckled �
and lay out in a room to dry out. Vacuum up remaining excess�vater. All work to be performed during normal business
hours. All clean up is included.
