The Board of Public Works, at its meeting held on July 24, 2018, approved the above
referenced memorandum of understanding to change the shift diff"erential for third, fourth,
and fifth shift Equipment Services Mechanics from forty-five (.45) cents to one -dollar, fifty
cents (1.50) per hour.
Enclosed please find a copy of the agreement for your records.

EQUIPMENT SERVICES WORK GROUP
This MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING sets forth an agreement between the City of South Bend
and the bargaining unit Teamsters of the Equipment Services Work Groups of the Central Services
Division.
The Supplemental Agreement for the Equipment Services Division of the City of South Bend made
effective January 1, 2017 is hereby amended as follows for the Equipment Services Work Group:
A. WAGES
5. Shift Dif ,forentio. The Shift Differential for Employees in the Equipment Services
Mechanic Ill's, IV's and V's is One Dollar and Fifty Cents ($1,50). All other Shift
Differential provisions in Article 5, Paragraph D are incorporated by reference.
This MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING shall be effective July 24,2018. Every other provision of the
original Master Agreement and Supplemental Agreement is hereby ratified, approved, and reaffirmed
by the parties and all other matters previously agreed to and set forth and not affected by this
amendment remain in full force and effect.
