D�ue to the fact that �here ��ere several fires at the time of the '�
meeting, Chief Knoblock could not be present,at the m�eting, to
report on the activities o� his department for the past week.

Requisitions and bills a�proved and ordered paid.
Pir. ;�ualls, Superintendent, ��ras present and stated he had just
returned from his vacation and �vas not in position to explain
the activies o� his Department for the past vreek. However,
Clerk Do,f�nes had charge of the Electrical Departm�nt during 1:'r.
Qualls absence and stated everything ��as satisfactory.
The Board instructed ?:ir. =;�ualls to errect a reflector button light
at the East end of Bo�r�aan Street.

ment with T:ir. H. A. Pershin; , President of the Humane Societ9,
to ha e ��::r. Fovrler handle the humane vaork as previously handled by
forme Police Officer Chas. Kemmerly. �ihe Clerk stated that ���r.
Fowle had impounded 102 dogs in the past week, destroying 101
of th number impounded. 196 cats impounded ��� all of v�hieh
were estroyed.

con ract Yor the Chassis as per specifications and bid , to
Sch rman-Schaus-Freeman Company of this City �or the sum of

The contract for the body and equipment was av�arded to the
Pet r Pirseh � Sons Co. , Kenosha, ':Jisconsin, at their bid of
