Pir. ;�ualls, Superintendent, ��ras present and stated he had just returned from his vacation and �vas not in position to explain the activies o� his Department for the past vreek. However, Clerk Do,f�nes had charge of the Electrical Departm�nt during 1:'r. Qualls absence and stated everything ��as satisfactory. Fovrler handle the humane vaork as previously handled by forme Police Officer Chas. Kemmerly. �ihe Clerk stated that ���r. Fowle had impounded 102 dogs in the past week, destroying 101 of th number impounded. 196 cats impounded ��� all of v�hieh were estroyed. On motion oY' �::r. Gadacz, seconded by S:�r. The contract for the body and equipment was av�arded to the Pet r Pirseh � Sons Co. , Kenosha, ':Jisconsin, at their bid of ;�4, 50.Q0.
