FIRE DEPARTP:'�NT � Requisitions a.nd bills a��proved and ordered paid. Chief Knoblock reported on the activities of his department for the past week. � ELECTRICAL DEPABTMENT Requisitions and bills approve& and ordered paid. �Tr. Qualls, Superintendent, reported on the aetivities o� his DepTt for the past week. ��YEIGHTS and BTEASURES DEPl�R.TP�2ENT Requisitions and bills approved and ordered paid. Report of City Sealer, Chas. J. Burns, approved and placed on file. POZICE DEPARTI.'IENT � �l Reqv.isitions and bills approved and ordered paid. � Chief Kuespert reported on the activities of his department for the past week. _ On motion o� t�2r. Gadacz, seconded by �,Zr. Zong, the Baard moved that Chief Kuespert be allowed �60.00 per month for the use of his automobile beginning January 1, 1932, and. the Clerk was instrueted to see that same was included in the Budget. Policewoman, �:irs Evans, presented repor t. S�me was approved and . placed on �ile. Af ter the Blerk had read th� following letter, received from Dr. E. E. Johnston, Pir. Gadacz made motior��, seconded by r,�r. Long, tha.t Of�icer Chas. Kemmerly be retirec� �rom active duty and re�erred to � the Pension Board. In order to give 1:2r. Kem�erly time to have applica- tion accepted by the Pension Board, the Board ordered the Clerk to noti�y Sergeant H. Vlhitmer, Secretary of Police Pension Fund, also Idr. Kemmerly that this order �vould take effect August 15, 1931, owing to the �aet that the Pension Board do es not meet until �ugust 5, 1931. Hono rab 1 e 'rBoard o� Public Safety, "� July 14, 1931. Kemmerly and he gives a history of having Diabetis fo r a nnmber of years� also that he was unable to carry on his du ties during the hot weather. There- fore, it is my opinion that he is not fit for active duty and it is my recommendation, to your Board, that he be placed on the Pension list. Respect�ully, E. E.
