Report of City Sealer, Chas. J. Burns, approved and placed on �ile.
The Boaxd instructed the Clerk to info�n NIr. Burns that it is their �
desire that he start a campaign on impovnding old scales.

Chief Kuespert reported on the activities of his department for the
past week. �
The Clerk read the follow�ng resignation filed in his of�fice on
June ls t:

I am, therefore, handing you my resignation at this time to
become effective July lst, 1931.

On recommendation of Chief Kuespert the Boa rd instructed the Clerk
to vrrite the Aviation Commission, informing them that it was the
Board' s desire that Sergeant Bert Olmstead b e returned to active
duty on the pol�.ce �orce on August 1, � 1�31.
