Requisitions and bills were approved and ordered paid.
On motion of r:Tr. Gadacz and second by T:?r. Long, the contract
for Fire ��paratus was aevarded to R. R. Kuehn Company, South Bend,
Indiana, as follo�rrs:
Al1 �greements are contingent upon delays resultin� from strices,
aceidents , fires, commandering of plant or other demands of the
United �tates ^overnment, delays in transportation and all other
causes beyond the control of the RICH3RD R. KU�HN CO�.TPANY.

'7itnesseth: That the part,y of the first part a�rees to sell,
upon the terms and conditions follotvin�, the apparatus and equinment
herein before described whic� is in accordance �r�.�i th the specifications
and ;uarantee attached, the same being �a part of this agreement and -
contract.
One ( 1) Triple Combinatior� Fumping Engine and Hose Truck
Pump. Capacity - 750 gallons per minute at
120 pounds pressure. �founted on Type 77
Studebaker Chassis.
One ( lj Double Bank 3ervice Truck with Pump. Capacity -
560 Jallons per minute at 120 pounds pressure.
�;`ounted on Type 99 Studebaker Chassis.
Delivery to be ma.de at South Bend , Indiana, within ninety (90)
�vorkin� days after receipt and approval of this contract , duly
executed, or as soon thereafter as is consistent r��ith good workman-
ship and proper paintin;;, suhjeet to delays resulting from any
' causes beyond our eontrol.
That the part,y of the first part Narrants all apparatus to be
free from defects in material and r�orkmanship. '"Jater pumps to be
�uaranteed mechanieally for ten ( 10) years, Chassis to have
standard automobile gnaran+ee.
The part,y of the second part a�rees to purchase and pay for
the aforesaid appar�.tus as aforesaid the sum of -------------------

The party of tYie fixst part a�;rees to promptl� test such
a,pparatus and the party of the second part agrees to accept it,
if �in accordance with con�ract, �vithin five da�Ts after delivery
at its destination.
�11 contracts are taken subject to the written acceptance of
the party of the first part by its duly a�athorized officers. �1t
the rea,uest� of the party of the first part, a written opinion of
the attorney for the political subdivision, as to the po��rer
of that political subdivision to make this contract , will be
furnished by part,y of the second ?�art.
It is further mutuaily agreed bet�veen the parties hereto that

the st pulations of this a�reement have been read an� understood
b,y the �arties of the second p�rt and that th�re are no tvarranties ,
a�reem nts of understandings, � either oral or v�ritten, �*rhich in
a,ny ma ner, alter, abridge, or conflict with the above, and that
this a: reement may be �.ltered modified, or abridged only in
writin; , dulV si�ned by an officer of the party of the first
part, ulv authorized, in addition to all other legal remedies
and ac ions.
P� rty of the first part is to use either �3oyer Fire Apparatus
Compan or Buffalo Fire Appliance Corporation equipment , movnted
on �tu ebaker Chassis, specifications as per proposal.

the Board for permission to block off the follo�rain� Streets:
South end of St. Louis Blvd. , �t. Peter at. , P�otre Dame Ave . , St.
Francis at. , and 'r;ddy St. , to LaSalle Park, also the intersection
of Arch �ve. , anc� I'ello��r ;�t to Edgev�ater Drive.
In addition to this the above named gentlemen asked permission to
levy a .25;,1 admission char;e for the event.
