4:00 P.r:t. . All members present.

�pplications of Oscar Beyer, Jos. N. Toppel, I,. C. 1!�icinski
and r?ilo E. Ho�fman were presented and ordered placed on file.

POZICE DEPART1tiENT
Report of Policewoman, l�rs Evans, was presented and ordered placed �/
on file.

Special Poliee Officer Commissfon: �,Zrs �mma J. Hi�tt was
appointed special police o�ficer to act in the capaeity oP detective
at Geo. ;�yman & Company store. This commission sub�ject to cancella-
tion at any time.
On motion of P1�r. Gadacz and second by "�'r. Long, Chas. Farkas
was appointed to the Police Department and ,upon recommendation of
Chief Lenon, will begin duties �;'.arch l, 1930.
P.�:r. Budd complimented Chief Lenon on the increased eYficiency
of traffic. .
It was decided by the Board that R�r. Long and Cap' t Raymond
would thake a survey of traffic in the loop, Tuesday mornin�.
Application o� "'lard H. Evans was presented and ordered
placed on �ile.
A petition for a stop street at Dubail and High Streets
was presented and ordered placed on file.
Request from Studebaker Corporation for a �ifteen minute
parking zone at Lafayette and Sotzth Streets ��ras considered
by the Board , but deferred to a later date.
Application o� Indiana Cab Company for a Cab Stand on East
side of S. tf�ichigan Street �vas refused by the Board.
On motion of r�Tr. Gadaez, second by ��ir. Zon�, R. E. Heeter, �
`i�l. F. Lightner, ?aJ. N. Buchanan and G. E. h�eyer, otherwi se known
as Sedan Cab Compan,q were granted a one-Cab Stand at 124 ;J.
Col�ax Avenue.
� On motion of ?:'r. Long, second by tFr. Gadacz the Yellow Cab
Company was assigned a 3-Cab Stand at 5outhern Hotel. Said Stanc�
formerly assigned to Indiana Cab Company, was revoked after
receiving letter from Southern Hotel and the consent of Ind iana •
Cab Company.
