The repor of an investigation on traffic conditions on Sample street
led to th motion of Jr. Johnson that the petition be placed on file.
The petit on.asked that all parking be restricted on Sample street.
Motion pr vailed to defer purchase of d9fety zone markers until next year.
Motion pr vailed to make Sample street preferential at Walnut street.
Motion wa made following petition filed by the Kosciusco - -civic Club.
Motion prevailed that a taxi stand be established at LaSalle Annex for
three car, .
Motion pr vailed to file report of policewoman.
Motion prevailed that a date be set later for the hearing of charges
against 0 fiver Mielke suspended November 15th. by Chief Hatt.

Tuesday November 19, 1929.-
Special meeting of the Board called at 9,a.m.
Mo ion prevailed to accept the resignition of Joseph Dreibelbis,
Clerk of the Board of Safety to become effective at once. Resignition
accepted because of a transfer to another department of the city.
The appointment of William Downs as Clerk of the Board of Safety
by Mayor C. R. Montgomery was approved. The appointment of Cdr. Downes
was prop ly filed with the City Clerk previous to the meeting and same
had the a proval of the Board.
In the absence of President Engeldrum the meeting was presided over
by E.E. Feeder, vice - president.
Motion made by Dr. Joshnston to adjourn at 9:15 a.m.
