Meeting was called to order at 4 :00 P.I:I. by Mr. Reeder
Pres. Engeldrum was not present.
Irlinutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved
FIRE DEPT.
Fire Dept. bills were approved and oi•dered paid.
Motion prevailea thatthe a.:plica.tions of Ford H. Sheidler, .
Eugene Robakowski, Everett F. Bush, and Geo. M. Boryani be approved
and ordered placed. on file.
I4lotion prevailed that Chief Knoblock be sent to the International
Assn. of Fire Chiefs Convention at Birmingham Ala.. Oct. 22nd. to
25th. incl.
ELECTRICAL DEPT.
Electrical Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
:,lotion prevailed that corner or side automatic traffic controll
li;hts be installed at the intersection of So. Bend Ave., Corby
St. and Eddy St.
14tonon prevailed that an automatic traffic eont_roll signal be
erected at the intersection of Lincoln Way West and tiilber St.
DEPT. OF `HEIGHTS &MEASURES
:lotion prevailed that the weekly report of City Sealer Burns
for the proceeding week be a.._:roved and ordered pieced on file.
POLICE DEPT.
Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
lvlotion -prevailed that the applications of 7a.lter John Bednacek, and
Paul McCarroll be approved and ordered placed on file.
Motion prevailed that a 15 minute waiting; zone be established at
212 v'. Jefferson Blvd.
IYlotion -prevailed that E. Ewing Ave. be'made a. preferential traffic
street at its intersection with Ironwood Drive.
Iiotion prevailed that parkinE, on Franklin Place be limited to two
hours between the same hours as a- -plies in down town section.
Motion prevailed that a. loading zone be established in front of the
Central Electric Co. Store at 216 N. La.fa.tette Blvd.
, -otion prevailed that Eddy St. be desiginated as a preferential
traffic street at its intersection with W. Madison St.
Lotion prevailed to adjourn at 5 :35 P.M.
