Meeting was called to order at 4 :00 P.M. by Pres.' Engeldrum
Min# es of the last regular meeting were read and approved..
FIRE DEPT.
Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
R,'oti n prevailed that the application of Isadore Van Hoke be
appr ved end ordered - nlac -d on file.
ELECTRICAL DEPT.
Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt. a'ualls for the
past week be approved and ordered placed on fiel.
Motion prevailed that automatic traffic signals be erected on S. Mich-
igan St. at the i:6tErsections of Indiana Av e, #UDCa.lvert St.
DEPT. 0 WEIGHTS AND KEASURES
Moti n prevailed that the weekly report of City Sealer Burns
for ihe past week be approved and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPT.
Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Moti n prevailed that the applications of Raymond H. Sommers and
Anth ny J. VanDolick be approved =nd ordered placed on file.
Motion prevailed that the official bond of Officer Fred F. Miller
name'ng the Employers Libility Assurence Corp. as surety be
appr ved.
Moti n prevailed that Chief Hctt be a_lowed to attend the State
conv Ith. ntion ,of chiefs of Police at Terre Haute Ind. on Oct. 8th.
and
Motion prevailed that California Ave be made a preferential
traffic street at its intersection with Cleveland Ave.
Motion prevailed that Stanfield St. be made apreferentia.l traffic st
at its intersection with PPbkagon St.
Also ha.t Angella Blvd. be made preferential at its intersection
with Pokagon St. for East bound traffic only.
