Fire De t. bills were approved and ordered paid.

31 .dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
DEPT. OF 'dEIGHTS &,: HEASURES
Lotion prevailed that the weekly report of City Sealer Burns
for the oast week be approved and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPT.
Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Hotion prevailed that Mishawaka. Ave. be made a preferential
traffic street at its intersection with Byers Ave.
Iiotion p �eva.iled that the Police ec Wiremand Band be detailed to
the Nation Air Race I:iorernTra_nspor•tation show at the I�iunicip-
ial Air Tort Aug. 28th., and 30th.
I;Iotion p °evailed that the request of Asst. Chief John B.
Kuespert for a, leave of absence from Oct. lst. 11-29 be granted.
Iiotion p evailed that Asst. Chief Kuesperts letter of request and.
the Bonrl of Public Safety 's letter to Asst. Chief Kuespert be
placed om file ejith his applicatioii and service record.
