The regualr weekly meeting of the Board of Public Safety was held
in the Boards Office
Monday, July 29th., 1929
Meeting was called to order at 4 :o5 P.M. by Pres. Engeldrum.
All members were pf3esent.
Minutes of the last regular weekly meeting were read and approved.
FIRE DEPT.
Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the the contaact for coal for the Police and
Fire Alarm Station and the Fire Stations be awarded to Knoblock
& via.rtin for approximately 301 ton of O'Gara Mine r 1 Saline- County
Ill. 6x3 egg coal at X5.05 per ton ,
ELECTRICU DEPT.
Electrival Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
140tion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt. Qualls for the
past week be approved and ordered pa.leed on file.

Motion prevailed that Supt. Qualls be instructed to turn the Auto-
matic Traffic Signals off at 12 Oclock Midnight in place of 11 :00 P.ri.
DEPT. OF HEIGHTS & i:'IEASURES
City Sealers bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the weekly report of City Sealer Burns for I
the week ending July 27th. be approved and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPT.
Police Dept. bills were. approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the application of Eddie H. Vvhite be approved
and ordered placed on file.
