Monday June 24th., 1929
Meeting vas called to order by Pres. Engeldrum at 4 :05 P.M.
All memb rs were -oresent.
Minutes cf the last regular weekly meeting were read and approved.
FIRE DEPT.
Fire Dep . bills were approved and ordered paid.
ELECTRICAL DEPT.
Electric 1 Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt. Qualls for the week
ending June 23rd. be approved and ordered placed on file.
DEPT. OF WEIGHTS & MEASURES _
City Sealers bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion p evailed that the weekly report of City Sealer Burns for
the week ending June 22nd. be approved and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPT.
Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that Ester St. be ordered made a preferential
traffic qt at its intersection with Me Kinley St.
Motion p evailed that Sunnysicle Ave. be madered made a preferential
traffic St. at its intersection with E. La Salle Ave.
Motion prevailed that parking be prohibited on the North side of
Sample St. between L.W.East and the west line of High St.
MoVDn prevailed that a dead end reflex sign be placed on corby St.
at the end of Hill St.
Motion prevailed that there be one hour parking limit on Franklin St.
between South St. and Monroe St.
Motion prevailed that 4 15 minute waiting zone be established in front
of the Unlion Station on W. South 133t
Motion p Bailed thtt Supt. Qualls be ordered to erect an automatic
traffic ignal at the intersection of Washington St. And William
St.
Motion prevailed that the taxi stand at the South side of E. Wash.
St. begi ing at the East line of Michigan St. and extending along the
Max Adler Store be elininated.
