All members were present
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved.
FIRE DEPT.
Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Lotion prevailed th, - -t the application of Carl W. Voreis be approved
and ordered placed on file.
ELECTRICAL DEPT.
.Elec.trical liept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
1,1otion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt. Q,,ualls for the
week ending March 31st. be approved and ordered placed on file
T,iotion rreva.iled that the applications of 15yron T. Snyder, and
Marion J. Gillies be approved and ordered placed on file-for
positions as operators; also the application of O.C.VanGundy for
the position of lineman.
1.1otion prevailed that Emil,: Krueger be appointed as operator effect-
ive as of April 1st. 1929.
Motion prevailed that Operator Ira- Hunsberger be appointed as
lineman effective April lst., 1929-
DEPT. OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES
City Sealers bills were approved and ordered paid.
11otion prevailed that the weekly report of City Sealer Burns
for the week ending March 5oth. be approved and ordered placed on
file. I
POLICE DEPT.
Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid
Motion prevailed that the application for reinstatement of Joseph J
Walsh be approved and ordered placed on file.
Motion prevailed that W. Washington St. be made a preferential traffic
St. at the intersection of W. Walnut St.
Motion prevailed that a loading zone be established in front of the
Campbell Paper Box Co. at 1101 S. Main St.
Motion prevailed that parking be eleminated on the North side of
LaSalle Ave. between Hydraulic live. and Sycamore St.
Motion prevailed that parking be eleminated on the South side of
Kerr St.
TA,otion prevailed that the overhead signs along the By *Pass Route
be ordered taken down, and be replaced by rubber stop markers.
Motion prevailed to adjourn at 5:50 P -11.
