The regular weekly meeting of the.-Board of Public Safety was held in
the Boards Office _
Wednesday December 26th., 1923
Meeting was called to ordereat 4:30 P.11.
Mr. Reeder was not present
Minutes of the last regular meeting were reed and approved.
FIRE DEPT.
11otion prevailed that Fireman Henry Sibrel be called before the Board
at the next regular meeting in regard to an account which he owes to
Dr. 11c Na me ra .
Motion prevailed that the application of Edward Pila.rski be accepted and-
ordered -ola.ced on file.
Chief Knoblock notified the Board of the death December 25th of Captain
John Wentland of the Fire Dept.
Electrical Dept.
Electrical Lept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt. Qualls of the Electrica.
Dept. be accepted and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPT.
Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Chief of Police James J. Hatt reported to the Board that he would
suspend Patrolman John.I. pYorthu when he came off duty at 6:00

P.1r1. and order him to appear be-
fore the Board Pt its next regular meeting on. December 31st. 1923
to stand trial for violation of rule 22 as set forth 6n page 11
of the temporary book of regulations
