Monday November 5th., 1928
Meeting was calledto order at 4 :15 P.M. by President Engeldrum.
Mr. Reeder was not present
Minutes of the last reg�zlar meeting were r•6a "d and approved.
FIRE DEPT.
Fire Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the application of Clayton Taylor be accepted
an ordered paid..
Due o the absence of Chief Knoblock on account of sickness motion
preva led that the awarding of the contract "for fire hose on bids
receiv,d on October 15th. 1928 be prosponed until some -time later
in the week at which time Chief Knoblock is expected to be able to
attend.
ELECTRICAL DEPT.
Electrical Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt. Qualls for the week
ending November 4th., 1928 be accepted and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPT.
Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed that the applications of Steve Paulinski, Fred C. :..,
Fred C. Schiller,- ri.B.Sprouls and -L—Z -Burch be approved and ordered
placed on file.
Motion prevailed to adjourn at 4;36 P.1vI.

Upon th, request of President Engeldrum a special meetinE of the Board
was called b;;r the Clerk for 10 :00 A.M. Thursday November 8th., 1928
in the Board of Public Safety Office.for the purpose of leaving contract
for fire hose.
Meeting was called to order by President Engeldrum at 10 :15 A.Ivi.
All members were present.
Chief'Knoblock was present
Upon a motion by Dr. Johnson and a. second by Mr. Reeder contract'was
awarded to the Manhattan Rubber Mfg. Co of Passaic N.J. for 1,000 feet
22 inch'Fulton Special, double jacket fire hose with rocker lug couplings
at $1.15 per foot. F.O.B. South Bend.
