The regular weekly meeting of the Boa.rc. of Public Safety was held in the"
Boards office
Monday October 29th., 1928
Meeting was called to order at 4 :00 P.M. by Pres. Engeldrum
All members were present
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read. and approved.
FIRE DEPT.
Motion prevailed that due to the illmess of Fire Chief Knoblock the
cQfatra.dt: for fire" hose be taken up at the next regular meeting. f
ELECTRICAL DEHE.
E lectrical Dept. bills were approved ancd ordered paid.
DEPT. OF Vii- 'IGHTS & MEASURES
City sealers bills were approved and ordeiecd paid.
POLICE DEPT.
Police Dept. bills were approved and ordered paid..
Motion prevailed that the application of Louis Rostiser be accepted
and ordered. placed. on file.
Motion prevailed that Chief Hatt be instructed to erect or paint on the
Pavement a. slow sign-'on E. LaSalle Ave. at the intersection of _Sunnyside_
Ave.
A petition was received. from G. Heintzelma.n, W.E.Crow and others
resideing on Merrietta:St..betwwen Broadway and E. Incliana'Ave. requestln4-'
that the no parking restriction be taken off the Westside of Merrietta
St• for these two.blocks.
Motion prevailed that these; �re'str•ictions be left as they are until
track elevation is finished and all the. streets are opened for traff10
again
Motion prevailed to adjourn at 4 :47 P.M.
