Minutes of the last regular meeting were approved
FIRE DEPT.
Fire Dept. bills were approved end ordered paid.
,lotion prevailed that the application of Bert F. Nowinski be accepted
and ordered pb-a,ced on file.

Sealed bids oi� proposals for Chemical Fire Apparatus in accordance
i ^with'th.- notice published in the South Bend News Times and South Bend
T-ribune were opened and tabulated in the presence of the reper senatives
of the various concerns offering bids or proposals.
The names of the concerns offering bids or proposals with specificat-
ions were as fillows:
Richard R. Kuhn Co.
Federal I,otor Truck Co. of South Bend
Peter P ersing Co.
American LaFrance•Co.
General" tifg. Co.
Boyer Fire Apparatus Co.
Scherman Schaus Motor Co.
Motion prevailed that a. special meeting of the Board be called for
Friday July 20th.; the hour of the meeting to be arranged later for
the purpose of ana.lizing the bids, and awarding the contract for the
chemical,appara.tas.
ELECTRICAL DEPT.
Eleetrica.l dept. bills were approved. -nd ordered paid.
!Motion prevailed that the weekly report of Supt; walls for week ending
July 15th. be accepted and ordered pUced on file.
DEPT. OF WEIGHTS &: il'aASURES
Iilotion prevailed that the weekly report of City Sealer Burns bor week
ending July 14th. be accepted and ordered placed on file.
POLICE DEPT.
Police De -:.t. bills were approved and ordered paid.
Motion prevailed to adjourn at 5 :10 P.M.
